About Dave Pelz

We here at almostGolf are very proud to have joined up with legendary golf instructor Dave Pelz and the Pelz Organization which provide top level golf instruction. Dave Pelz has been endorsing the almostGOLF ball since 2006 and the almostGOLF ball is used in Dave Pelz Scoring Game School locations worldwide. The Dave Pelz Scoring Game School locations offer both one-day and three-day clinics. Dave Pelz and his instructors teach thousands of students every year including beginners, expert players and even golf professionals like Phil Mickelson.

Dave Pelz has played an integral role in making the almostGolf ball the #1 off-course practice ball in golf. He not only endorses the product, he gives almostGolf balls to every one of his students so they are able to go home and practice what they learn in his schools. This daily practice and reinforcement at home is critical to every golfer's improvement. Dave Pelz attended Indiana University on a 4 year golf scholarship. He was a NASA Research Scientist at the Goddard Space Center for fifteen years and has exhaustively researched golf for thirty-two years. He holds 18 patents. He has published over 200 golf instruction articles and published five award winning books including:

THE DAVE PELZ INSTRUCTION MODEL: Dave Pelz teaches a research-based method that is a life-time learning system. He believes that practice does not necessarily make perfect. Practice makes permanent. Also, bad practice is worse than no practice. Only proper practice leads to improvement.
